Making Sure Our Seniors Are Safe And Doing Well
THE REASON WE DO WHAT WE DO
At DSCC, we provide many services to the seniors in DuPage County. But the one that is at the heart of everything we do, is the Well-Being Check.
The Well-Being Check service offers peace of mind knowing that loved ones are feeling good, eating properly and that their home environment is safe and secure.
If there is ever an issue, we mobilize an Emergency Follow-Up Protocol where the staff or volunteer immediately contacts our office. We collaborate with every municipality and township in DuPage County to make sure every senior that we provide services for is accounted for.
How The Well-Being Check Works
The Well-Being Check is always given with each service DSCC provides to make sure everything is alright with our seniors and to make sure they are not experiencing any medical, physical issues or household issues that may danger them.
For those seniors who are not currently enrolled in the Meals On Wheels service or receiving other DSCC services, we also offer a Friendly Visit and Assistance Service. This service incorporates a Well-Being Check along with socialization and help for seniors with small tasks.
