TAKING CARE OF OUR SENIOR’S BEST FRIENDS

We know that for some of our seniors, their pet means everything to them. But for some, caring for their pet adds stress to their lives. That’s why we have our Pet Food & Assistance service for those seniors who sometimes find it difficult to take care of themselves and their pet.

I Love Pets. How Can I Get Involved?

We accept pet food donations for the purpose of delivering it to our seniors who have pets and have requested assistance. Your monetary or product donation helps ease the worry from our seniors – leaving their only job to love their trusted companion.

How Does The Pet Food & Assistance Service Work?

The DSCC Pet Food & Assistance service helps seniors by providing pet food and veterinary visits for their pet. We have volunteers who can stop by our senior’s homes to deliver pet food so they don’t have to worry about how they can get pet food for their friends.

The pet food is donated by local pet shops and other local businesses and individual pet lovers who want to make sure our senior’s best friends are in good care.

We also have veterinary partners who help keep our senior’s pets happy and healthy by performing pet check-ups. It is all a part of how we care for our seniors.
