WE ARE MORE THAN MEALS

Sure, we have delivered more meals to homebound seniors than any other organization in Illinois. But DSCC is more than Meals on Wheels. DSCC is dedicated to helping seniors navigate through the daily challenges they face as they age.

From Well-Being Checks to Minor Home Repairs to helping seniors care for their pets, DSCC provides important services that help our seniors live independently.

MEALS ON
WHEELS

Many seniors who live alone find it difficult to shop and prepare their own meals. Oftentimes, they will miss a meal just because it is too difficult of a task to do everyday. That is where DSCC helps.

COMMUNITY DINING

There are many seniors in who are still active and like to get out as much as they can. That is why DSCC has Dining Centers throughout DuPage County where seniors can gather together and share a meal.

WELL-BEING CHECKS

At DSCC, we provide many services to the seniors in DuPage County. But the one that is at the heart of everything we do, is the Well-Being Check.

HEALTH & WELLNESS

Our seniors love to learn. And because we want them to be well-informed, DSCC provides on going Health & Wellness Education that is designed to keep our seniors healthy and in the know.

YARD
CLEAN UPS

This is why Yard Clean Ups are part of our DSCC Senior Services. Our volunteers will go out to senior’s homes and rake up leaves and any trash or debris that has collected throughout the season and remove it – leaving their yard looking good so they can safely enjoy their yard.

MINOR HOME
REPAIRS

Any homeowner will tell you that there is always something that needs to be fixed when you own a home. But for seniors who live alone, keeping up on minor home repairs as easy a leaky faucet is sometimes an impossible task. So they live with the problem.

PET FOOD &
ASSISTANCE

We know that for some of our seniors, their pet means everything to them. But for some, caring for their pet just adds stress to their lives. That’s why we have our Pet Food & Assistance Program for those seniors who sometimes find it difficult to take care of themselves and their pet.
