OLDER ADULTS NEED OUR HELP
Help us take care of the most vulnerable in our community
Isolation Doesn’t Have To Be So Isolating
Greetings my friend,
I am honored to serve on the board of directors for DuPage Senior Citizens Council (DSCC).
DSCC, and organizations like ours, provide comfort, company, and food security to the seniors in our communities so that they can continue to live independently. But the fundraising activities that usually fund our programs have been severely affected by the current pandemic. This has put our ability to continue to run these programs in jeopardy.
Many seniors find everyday life difficult. For older adults who live alone, COVID 19 and social distancing has made this past year especially hard.
Now more than ever, we need your support. I am asking you to consider supporting DSCC by donating, volunteering or advocating to help DSCC care for the seniors in our own communities.
Thank you.
– Aubrey Van Reken

“99% of the people we serve are below the poverty level and it’s just ridiculous. At this point in time to put any senior on a waiting list during this very critical pandemic we are going through”
